Dust marks turn the city into a legible visualization of particulate matter pollution. Dust particles accumulate on the surfaces of the city, forming a patina. Dust marks partially remove this patina and make it legible based on the technique of
reverse graffiti.
As new particles continue to accumulate, the patterns slowly fade and thus reveal the effect of air pollution.
